LASC is making a PHOTO DATABASE with photos from Latin America that we can use for the website, the newsletter and publications. For pictures that we find online we need to ask the rights and that is a very time consuming (and not always successful) process.

That's why we ask your help.

Would you have pictures of Latin America that could be part of our database? Please send them to events.lasc@gmail.com.

We are looking for pictures of: Food, Trade, Fields and farmers, Cultural events,Political expressions (protest movements, politicians, or images of politicians, political slogans), Famous buildings, poverty and/or wealth, indigenous people, Factories and labourers

If you have a lot of pictures you can make a folder of it, zip it, and upload the folder in www.yousendit.com and send it to the same email address. If you use Picasa, you can also share the photos with us through Picasa. If you can, it would be great if you can mention the country and the city where the photo has been taken. Thanks!
