LASC Open Day and Mini Fair
On Saturday 22nd October we are holding an open day and a mini fair for in LASC from 12pm-5pm, for members, volunteers and friends. This will be an opportunity for you to meet like minded people in our (your) own office. The staff will update you on their role in LASC and you will have the chance to find out what LASC is currently doing, ask questions and give suggestions.

In December 2001, Argentina experienced an unprecedented economic crash, with a 75% devaluation of their currency. Enormous hardship ensued for their people and large scale populal mobilisation. The economic collapse included the largest sovereign default in the history of modern finance.
Introduction
LASC is carrying out a programme of development education activities for the period 2009-2012 focusing on the theme of food sovereignty in Latin America and its links to Ireland.

The world wide campaign against Coca Cola is an on going systematic global process which includes various activities of protest, mobilization, a call for disinvestments in those institutions where Coca Cola is represented and a consumer boycott of its products; any way of expressing your rejection of the company.
