To support the Bolivarian alternative as instigated by the President Hugo Chavez and his government in their efforts to promote a free, democratic and more egalitarian society in Venezuela.
To support the right of the Venezuelan people to self-determination.
To oppose U.S. and other interference in Venezuela and the rest of Latin American by supporting movements working for peace and social justice in the region.
To raise awareness in Ireland of the achievements of President Chavez and the forces working against him , his government and allies.
To campaign to ensure that Irish foreign policy actively promotes these aims.
